Seattle (Oct 30, 2012) - Save the City Records is proud to announce Je'kob's second solo album release "Hope", the second volume of his three-part "Faith, Hope, Love" EP series. The second EP "Hope" releases digitally today and carries uplifting themes: seeing beyond difficult circumstances, relying on God, and rejoicing in life. Musically, Je'kob spins a unique style combining pop melodies with honest, message-filled rap. The "Hope" EP follows Je'kob's recent success at Christian CHR radio. His pop song "Love Is All" reached the #12 spot on Billboard and stayed on the chart for 21 weeks. To support the three-part "Faith, Hope, Love" series, Je'kob has also released the new single "In Your Hands" to Christian AC and CHR radio.
Earlier this month, Je'kob appeared at the Microsoft Alumni Celebration, a philanthropic dinner event to showcase the innovative humanitarian work of Microsoft employees. The Microsoft Alumni Celebration featured the actress Jennifer Garner (Alias, 13 Going on 30, Elektra), politician Mark Shriver (Maryland House of Representatives), and Microsoft founder Bill Gates. Je'kob and Save the City Records were on hand to debut a version of Je'kob's music video "Love Is All" to highlight the work of World Concern, a Christian global relief and development organization that extends life-saving help and opportunity to people facing the most profound human challenges of extreme poverty.
